Bath Bomb Murder

Andrew Kohoe was born February 1st, 1872. He went to Michigan State and got a degree in engineering. While in college he met his wife, Nellie. Andrew starts working as a electrician and he ended up getting a head injury, which resulted in him getting in a coma for two weeks. When he wakes up his mother had passed away. A couple years later he became a farmer, and it is said that he had murdered his neighbors dog and had also tied his arms legs up, so they could not run, and then set fire to the barn. In 1927, Koehoe had killed his sickly wife with a violent blow to the head. Then, Kohoe lined the buildings on his property with “enough dynamite to blow up the county,” which he planned to set off right after the school went up. He also tied up his animals legs again. Then, at 9:45 a.m., just like Kehoe planned, the Bath Consolidated School blew up. Luckily, not all the explosives went off, and to either faulty wiring or weak batteries, less than half of the bombs detonated. Though “only” half the building came down, though 38 students and six adults were ultimately killed, including himself.
